Install Vuforia Studio in Closed Network Environments
Before You Begin
Before installing Vuforia Studio for a closed network environment on Windows, we recommend that you take the following into consideration.
This installation method does not create any Desktop or Start Menu shortcuts.
When you install an offline version of Vuforia Studio, the Check for Updates feature will not work, and you must update manually.
Auto-update will not be available for offline installations of Vuforia Studio. To update to a new version, you will need to uninstall the current offline version, and then follow the “Create an Offline Version of Vuforia Studio” procedure below to update.
If you have an existing version of Vuforia Studio installed with the online installer, you will need to completely uninstall that version before installing an offline version.
Install Vuforia Studio
Complete the following steps to create a version of Vuforia Studio for Windows that can be installed offline.
1. Go to the Vuforia Studio Software Download page.
2. Under Step 2: Choose Release & Download, click the plus sign next to the appropriate release, and then expand Vuforia Studio > Most Recent Datecode.
3. Click HTTPS next to Vuforia-Studio-Windows-Restricted-<release number>.
4. Extract the contents of the .zip file to a location on your machine. For example, D:\Vuforia_Studio.
5. Once the .zip file has finished extracting, double-click the .exe file.
6. Click Run when asked if you want to run the file.
7. On the Open File-Security Warning window, click Run.
8. Once the installation is complete, the Vuforia Studio window appears.
