Use Hands-Free Playback Animation
Steps
1. Create an a new project and select Mobile - Default as the template type.
2. Drag and drop a ThingMark widget onto the 3D canvas.
3. Drag and drop a Model widget onto the canvas.
4. In the PROPERTIES pane, click the green + sign next to the drop-down menu under the Resource field. The Add Resource window appears.
5. Click Select File, and navigate to the 3D model file you want to add. Click Open, and then click Add on the Add Resource window.
6. Once you’ve added the CAD file, the Sequence drop-down is automatically populated with the sequence file. For this tutorial, we’re using the blue pump model and associated .pvi file that will add the disassembly animation sequence to the model.
7. Next, select 2D from the canvas toolbar.

You can switch back and forth between the 3D and 2D overlay using this toolbar.
8. Drag and drop three Button widgets on to the canvas and name them:
Play
Pause
Resume
9. Select the “Play” button on the canvas. From the DETAILS panel, drag and drop the Click event onto model-1 in the PROJECT panel.
10. Select Play All on the Select Binding Target window. Click Bind.
11. Select the “Pause” button on the canvas. From the DETAILS panel, drag and drop the Click event onto 3D Container in the PROJECT panel.
12. Select Freeze Camera on the Select Binding Target window. Click Bind.
13. Select the “Resume” button on the canvas. From the DETAILS panel, drag and drop the Click event onto 3D Container in the PROJECT panel.
14. Select Resume Camera on the Select Binding Target window. Click Bind.
15. Next, in the PROJECT pane, click Experiences under CONFIGURATION.
16. On the Edit Experiences page:
Leave ThingMarks selected in the ThingMark Association field
Enter a title in the Title field
Enter your unique ThingMark ID in the ThingMark field (for example, the format is Domain:ID)
17. Click Publish.
18. Now, view your Experience on your device:
Click “Play” to start the animation.
Click “Pause” to freeze your camera. You’ll notice that when you move your device away from the ThingMark, the animation continues to play.
Click “Resume” to unfreeze your camera. You’ll notice that your camera feed begins again, and tracking resumes. However, depending on where your camera is pointing, you may need to reestablish tracking.
