What’s New in Vuforia Expert Capture 3.12.0
Vuforia Editor
Pass/Fail States Column Renamed in Step Check Settings
The column previously named PASS/FAIL STATES in the Step Check Settings table has been renamed to PASS/FAIL CAPTURES. Therefore, instead of displaying the number of training images, the number of captures will be displayed. A capture is comprised of one training of a pass or fail state. For example, each time a new dome of hexagons is shown during Guided training, a new capture starts. A new capture also begins for every execution of a step when Continue Training is enabled.
*
Similarly, the number under the Pass and Fail thumbnails will also now display the capture count.
Vuforia Vantage
iOS
iOS/iPadOS 17 is now supported.
iOS/iPadOS 15 is no longer supported.
If tracking becomes unreliable (not lost) during Step Check training, training is paused, the dome stops appearing, and a Tracking is unreliable message appears.
For steps with Step Check enabled, the augmentation that helps guide users to the correct angle is now always displayed when the point of interest is out of camera angle.
*
The augmentation is not displayed when Step Check is in Setup mode.
Android
Android 14 is now supported.
If tracking becomes unreliable (not lost) during Step Check training, training is paused, the dome tiles stop appearing, and a Tracking is unreliable message appears.
For steps with Step Check enabled, the augmentation that helps guide users to the correct angle is now always displayed when the point of interest is out of camera angle.
*
The augmentation is not displayed when Step Check is in Setup mode.
