Standard Encryption
In many aspects, standard encryption (multi-expert sessions) is very similar to end-to-end encryption (peer-to-peer sessions), including following WebRTC standards. However, the main difference between the two encryption methods is that with standard encryption, the encryption key is stored in the cloud where content is decrypted and then re-encrypted before being shared to participants in the session.
As with end-to-end encryption, session summaries shown at the end of a Chalk session are still captured on each user’s local device (not stored on a server). If a user does not choose to export the images, they are deleted and cannot be retrieved at a later time. For more information about session summaries, see Session Summaries.
