The Installation Log
During the ThingWorx Analytics installation, the installer writes log files to the installation directory on your host computer. The log files contains details about the installation process. If you have issues during the installation, you can consult the logs for any errors that might be recorded there.
The following log files are created in the ThingWorxAnalytics installation directory:
• ThingworxAnalyticsServer/install.log
• DescriptiveAnalytics/DescriptiveAnalytics-install.log

If your installation directory is different, for example because you’ve upgraded from a previous release, adjust your navigation accordingly. For more information, see Upgrade from an Earlier Version.
