What's New in This Help Center?

When planning upgrades and looking for supported version and compatibility information, visit the PTC tool, Release Advisor. This tool provides the single source for this information for PTC products. August 2021	Fix for EMX-3996 to clarify how the download.overwriteExisting option works for file downloads to Axeda eMessage Agents. The changes were made to the descriptions of the option in the topics, Downloading Files to Axeda Gateway and Connector Agents and Metadata for File Transfer Jobs.

May 2021	Add release notes for v.1.4.1 of the Axeda Compatibility Package. Added upgrade topic for upgrading the eMessage Connector from v.1.2.7 to 1.3.2. Remove caution from release notes for v.1.4.0 about Java 8 no longer supported. This version does support Java 8. Removed references to ThingWorx Platform versions 8.4.x, which have gone out of standard support. Additional minor edits.

March 2021	Added release notes for ThingWorx Axeda Compatibility Package v.1.4.0. Added information about support for PTC Axeda Policy Server, which is new in this release. Note that only Policy Server's ability to control Remote Sessions is supported by the eMessage Connector at this time. March 2020	The following updates have been made to this help center: • Added ThingWorx Axeda Compatibility Package Release Notes, v.1.2.3 • Added notes to ThingWorx Remote Access Client and Using the RAClientLinker Widget topics to explain that RAC does not support protocols that trigger multiple disconnects during normal operation, such as RDP. • Added navigation links to the ThingWorx Remote Access Client and Using the RAClientLinker Widget topics. • Updated Welcome page. • Corrected name of the service for sending a Time Sync message to the Axeda Agent to be AgentTimeSync.
