NI TestStand is test management software offered by National Instruments which helps engineers build and deploy tests. Creating an NI TestStand connection enables connectivity to NI TestStand results, and makes this data available in the ThingWorx Apps.

When an NI TestStand connection is selected in the Controls Advisor connections list, the bottom pane shows whether a test is currently running or is idle, as well as information on the last sequence that was run, and the results of the last step run in the most recent six test sequences.
