Image Maintenance
Delete Orphan Images
Orphan images are images that exist within the ThingWorx Applications, but are not currently in use. These images can take up excess memory and space and can be removed by utilizing a service.
1. It is recommended to backup all images within the ThingWorx Applications locally or in a secured cloud. The images should be located in the two file paths below.
a. ThingworxStorage/repository/PTC.FSU.CWC.DocumentManagement.FileRepository_TG/Assembly.HTMLWidget/ImgConverted
b. ThingworxStorage/repository/PTC.FSU.CWC.DocumentManagement.FileRepository_TG/Fabrication.HTMLWidget/ImgConverted
2. From ThingWorx Composer, search for and open PTC.SCA.SCO.MnfgCommonToolbox.
3. Navigate to the Services tab.
4. Locate and run the service named DeleteOrphanImages.
