User Role Configuration
The ThingWorx Applications offer security configuration features that require configuration if they are to be fully leveraged. See the example following the table for how to configure security for a Process Engineer. This process can be used to configure any other user roles, utilizing the following table.
Each user requiring the Process Engineer user role should be placed in the following user groups:

For example:
1. From the user interface landing page, navigate to Configuration and User Management.
2. Click the User Groups tab.
3. Search for and select the user group: PTC.FSU.CORE.Security.ProcessEngineer_UG
4. Click Edit.
5. Click the Manage Members tab.
6. Search for select the appropriate users in the left list pane.
7. Click to add users to the group.
8. Click Save.
9. Repeat the same process for the user group: PTC.SCA.SCO.MnfgCommonRoleProcessManagerUserGroup
