Order of Installation
The following is required to properly install the necessary infrastructure for each environment (QA and Production).
There are two phases that make up the installation:
• Installing SQL server, ThingWorx (including Tomcat). The ThingWorx Manufacturing Apps (including database configuration) must also be installed if running ThingWorx 8.5.7.
• Installing Kepware Server, then performing the tags configuration for the ThingWorxApplications.
These two phases can happen concurrently (as shown in the diagram below). The ThingWorx Applications installation and configuration may be performed only after both phases have been completed.
