Step 5: Provide Visibility Support for Non-Administrator Users
The TW.SCM.SFW.SCMUtilities resource contains the AdjustVisibility service to help align visibility and permission for non-administrator users.
*
To set visibility permissions, you must be an administrator or have the appropriate permissions.
Complete the following steps to set visibility permissions for non-administrator users:
1. In ThingWorx Composer, navigate to System > Resources.
2. Click TW.SCM.SFW.SCMUtilities, and then click Services.
3. Click next to the AdjustVisibility service.
*
Use TW.UTL.UtilSetupHelper as the resource and AdjustUtilitiesVisibility as the service for ThingWorx Utilities version 9.3.0 and earlier.
4. In the orgOrOrgUnit field, enter the organization for which you want to execute the service, or you can also use a colon to enter the organization and the unit. For example, if you want to provide visibility permissions for the entities that are available to ThingWorx Software Content Management and some platform entities (subsystems, resources, and so on) for the AcmeOrganization and the Sales, then enter AcmeOrganization:Sales in this field.
5. Click Execute.
