Data History
Complete the following steps to configure automatic purge of deployments:
1. From the left pane in ThingWorx Software Content Management, under the Administration section, navigate to Configuration > Data History.
The Historical Data Configuration page appears.
Use this page to configure the purging of package deployments. Purging removes any deployed package after a certain time. This saves the storage space in the database and prevents the unwanted deployment data from appearing in search results on the SCM dashboard.
2. Select the time period from the drop-down list that appears for the Purge Deployments After:
Never
1 Day
1 Week
1 Month
3 Months
6 Months
1 Year
By default, the selection is Never. If you change the setting to one of the time periods, all package deployments will be purged automatically after they reach the configured time period.
For example, if you selected 1 Week, packages and their data history that are 1 week old since their successful deployment on the target asset will be purged automatically.
