Specify User Access Control
The Access page allows you to specify the users and user groups that should have access to a selected package. There are three categories of user group package privileges:
View and deploy the package.
Delete the package once it is published.
Edit and Publish the package.

If you do not want to grant access to any users or user groups to a package, only the creator of the package and the system administrator will have that privilege.
To specify user access control, complete the following steps:
1. From the left pane in ThingWorx Software Content Management, under the Packages section, navigate to Access > Specify Access Control.
The Access page appears.
2. Ensure that the package that you want to specify access for is displayed in the Selected Package field.
This field displays the last package that was created or the last package that was selected. If you want to create a test deployment for a different package, click , and select the correct package from the Find Packages page.
3. Use the Select User or Select User Group fields to search for and select a user or a user group.
4. In the Select Access Control list, select the privilege that the selected user or user group should have:
View & Deploy — The user or members of the user group can view and deploy the selected package.
Edit & Publish — The user or members of the group can edit and publish the selected package.
Delete — The user or members of the user group can delete the selected package after it is published.
5. Click to add the user or user group.
The selected user or user group appears in the Users or Users Groups table with the assigned access privilege.
6. Repeat the above steps to add multiple users or user groups.
7. If you want to remove the privileges from a user or user group, select an entry in the Users or Users Groups table, and click . Alternatively, click Clear to remove all accesses from the selected package.
8. Click Next.
The Publish Package page appears.
