User Menu
The User menu in ThingWorx Composer provides access to user-specific settings and actions. It includes the following submenus:
• Logged-in user information— Displays the name of the current user. For example, Administrator.
• Preferences— You can use the Preferences menu, which is available under the User menu, to customize your development environment and interaction behavior. The Preferences menu allows you to configure the following:
◦ Service editor theme— Personalize the appearance of the service editor by selecting from the Dark, Light, or Eclipse based themes.
◦ Provide comment with save— Enable or disable the Saving dialog box. This dialog box prompts you to enter comments when you save entities. These comments are stored in the entity’s change history in the Comment column.
◦ Switch from the General Information view after initial save— Switch the view automatically after saving an entity. After entities are saved in the General Information view and if this checkbox is selected, the next view for an entity type opens. For example, for mashups, masters, and gadgets, the Design view opens.
• Change Password— Changes the password of the current user. For more information, see
User Passwords.
• Logout— Allows you to log off from ThingWorx Composer. This action ends your current session and returns you to the login page.
