Upgrade ThingWorx Navigate
Before You Begin
Before you begin upgrading to ThingWorx Navigate 9.x, complete the following steps:
1. Make sure that your current ThingWorx Navigate is up and running.
2. Take note of your tailoring settings, and check if you see changes after you complete the upgrade.
3. Confirm that the connection between Windchill and ThingWorx Navigate works.
If you have customized your ThingWorx Navigate using the out-of-the-box ThingWorx Navigate services, we recommend that you verify if any of these services have been modified in the new version of ThingWorx Navigate. For more information, see Compare Versions of ThingWorx Navigate.

Determine the Upgrade Support for Your Version
When upgrading your ThingWorx Navigate server, we recommend upgrading to the latest available release. Refer to the ThingWorx Navigate Upgrade Support Matrix to determine the upgrade support for your version.
Determine Your Upgrade Path: In-Place or Migration
Now, determine your upgrade path—in-place or migration upgrade. Select the ThingWorx Navigate version you want to upgrade to and then refer to the table in the section to identify your upgrade path.

Download the Files for ThingWorx Navigate Upgrade
2. Expand Release APPs and select the desired version of ThingWorx Navigate.
3. Now, expand Most Recent Datecode and select the bundle suitable for your scenario:
◦ For an in-place upgrade, download the bundle suitable for your operating system:
▪ Windows—ThingWorx-Navigate-<version>-Windows
▪ Linux—ThingWorx-Navigate-<version>-Linux
◦ For a migration upgrade, download ThingWorx-Navigate-Supplemental-Files-<version>-bundle
4. Next to Download now, select your download method. The file is downloaded and you’re ready to continue.
5. Extract the downloaded bundle and proceed with your upgrade path:
