Compare Versions of ThingWorx Navigate
ThingWorx Navigate has not published a list of services that are supported for use in customization. If you happen to have customization in your current ThingWorx Navigate that use the services from the out-of-the-box product, we recommend that you review the changes made to these services in the new version. Do this before you start the upgrade, so that you can plan to update your customization to work with these changes.
A report with a summary of changes is included with ThingWorx Navigate 9.3.x. This report contains the information listed below:
• Services that were changed.
• Parameters that were added or removed.
• Services that were removed/deprecated. Note that the entity that contains a removed service is not removed.
Follow these steps to view the report:
2. Expand Release APPs and select the desired version of ThingWorx Navigate.
3. Now, expand Most Recent Datecode and select Thingworx-Navigate-Supplemental-Files-<version>-bundle.
4. Next to Download now, select your download method. The file is downloaded and you’re ready to continue.
5. Extract the file ThingWorx-Navigate-Supplemental-Files-<version>-bundle.zip and open the upgrade folder.
6. Select the report you want to review.
For instance, to review the differences between ThingWorx Navigate 9.3.x and 8.5.8, open the file CompareServiceReport_V9.3.x_V8.5.x.html
