Known Issues for Installation Tools
The installation and configuration tools have the following known issues:
• You cannot install ThingWorx Navigate multiple times on the same machine.
• For Linux, the progress bar looks complete even while the installation is in progress.
• For all configuration types, no validation is performed on your Windchill connection. Enter the connection information carefully.
• The
ThingWorx Navigate configurator may fail for a
ThingWorx Navigate setup using the
Windchill authentication, if your
Windchill is connected to an Active Directory (when the
Administrator user is not defined or used in
Windchill). As a workaround, configure Apache with non-AD datastore using instructions from
this technical support article.
• You cannot uninstall ThingWorx Navigate separately. ThingWorx Foundation must be uninstalled to uninstall ThingWorx Navigate.
• Uninstalling
ThingWorx Foundation does not uninstall
ThingWorx Integration Runtime. If you have an existing installation of
ThingWorx Integration Runtime, uninstall it using instructions from the "Uninstall
ThingWorx Integration Runtime" section in the
Prerequisites.
