Each plant model object from the Rockwell FactoryTalk MES system is converted into a Thing in ThingWorx based on the Thing Template mapped for the plant model object type. The Thing Template mapping is defined in the EquipmentTypeMapping configuration table on the equipment converter Thing (PTC.RA.EquipmentConverter).
