Configuring the ThingWorx Rockwell FactoryTalk MES Integration
After importing the ThingWorx Rockwell FactoryTalk MES extension, two connections need to be configured in ThingWorx Flow to enable the integration between a Rockwell FactoryTalk MES system and ThingWorx:
A FactoryTalk MOM connection
A ThingWorx Basic connection
To configure these connections:
1. Navigate to ThingWorx Flow at the following URL, replacing <hostname> with the appropriate host and port for your ThingWorx installation:
https://<hostname>/Thingworx/Composer/apps/flow
2. Under Administrator, select Settings > Connections.
3. In Connected Accounts > Connections, click the plus icon and select the name of the connector.
4. Enter the appropriate connection settings for the connector. The details for each connection are provided following this procedure.
5. Click Save to create the connection. Repeat as needed to add both connections.
The connection settings are as follows:
For the FactoryTalk MOM connection:
Connector Label–Accept the auto-populated default value: Connect_to_FactoryTalk_MOM1. The services provided with the ThingWorx Rockwell FactoryTalk MES extension are configured to expect this value. If a connection with that name exists, edit it to ensure that it is connected to the desired Rockwell FactoryTalk MES system.

User Name and Password—Enter the credentials for the appropriate user.
