Upgrading ThingWorx Apps
Upgrade to ThingWorx Apps 9.0.0 is supported from ThingWorx Apps 8.5.x systems. Follow the upgrade steps appropriate for your source system:
• If you are upgrading from a ThingWorx Apps system earlier than release 8.5.0, you must first upgrade to 8.5.0 before upgrading to ThingWorx Apps 9.0.0. For more information, see the Thingworx Apps 8.5 Help Center.

Systems configured with a high availability active-active environment require a fresh installation. Upgrading from previous releases to a 9.0 system with a high availability active-active environment is not supported.
