Supported Clients and Platforms
The following sections provide general information about supported clients and platforms. For detailed information, see the Servigistics InService Software Support Matrices for a specific Servigistics InService release.
• Clients: Servigistics InService supports standard web browser clients and is certified for use with multiple clients as described in the Servigistics InService Software Matrices for the specific Servigistics InService release that you are using. Support includes versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome.
• Server Platforms: Servigistics InService supports the Windows and Linux server platforms.
ThingView Viewer Support
Servigistics InService supports the ThingView viewer. ThingView is a JavaScript API for rendering interactive 3D computer graphics within any compatible web browser without the use of plug-ins. This is required for browsers and devices that don't support plug-ins, thus cannot use Creo View.
Since the ThingView viewer does not include all the functions supported by Creo View, Creo View is still the default viewer for browsers and devices that allow plug-ins.
The following actions are supported in ThingView.
• View and interact with PVZ images directly from PartsList, IE XML pages, etc.
• Change orientation, zoom in or out, mouse gestures.
• Available toolbar actions:

◦ Zoom All
◦ Zoom Selected
◦ Zoom Window
◦ Isolate
◦ Hide Selected
◦ Unhide All
◦ All orientations: ISO 1, ISO 2, Top, Bottom, Left, Right, Front, Back)
The
Graphics Visualization in Browsers without Plugins preference specifies whether
ThingView is used when the browser does not support the
Creo View plug-in.
