Site Group | You must run this task for each Site Group that has loaded data in sites. Example: In the case of a split environment with Preview and Runtime Site Groups. The Preview Site has no data loaded, only the Runtime site/s has data loaded. In this situation the Run Migration Task is relevant only for Runtime Site Group. |
This migration task performs the following actions:
1. Migrate File System Storages:
In the Servigistics InService 6.5 release, there is only one file system storage. This is different from Servigistics InService release 6.4, where each segment had its own file system storage. This task copies all files from segment specific file storage to single file storage and it will also update DataSourcesConf.xml and namespaceConf.xml accordingly.
1. Migrate Product Hierachy and Group Effectivity files:
The task should identify all old style Product Hierarchy and Group Effectivity files stored as (ProductHierarchy_{segmentname}.ph, GE_{segmentname}. eff) create a DCTM_Output on the fly and put such files under Deleted folder. It will also put Product Hierarchy and Group Effectivity files with new style name (no segment name in between) and put under Update folder and trigger PublishtoPreview task which deletes old style files and load new style to all collections. If there is no old style Product Hierarchy and Group Effectivity files this task will simply complete with message no migration needed and will not trigger P2P.
