Publishing Alternate Parts
Servigistics InService supports alternate parts. These parts are displayed in the Servigistics InService user interface on the Alternates option for a part.
Follow this process to publish an alternate part:
1. In Windchill, use the Type and Attribute Management utility to create a Part subtype called alternateType.
2. During the TAL process for a Px bundle, map the WTPart attribute alternateType to the partType element.
The Servigistics InService user interface displays that partType element in the Alternates option.
