Troubleshooting Delays
In certain situations data transmission from a Servigistics InService Server to a client system may lose compression. This could result in longer login times to a WAN, longer download times, and poorer performance in general.
These issues could be caused by some of the following:
• A load balancer may or may not be removing the compression, either on the request, or on the response to or from the JBOSS instance.
• The reverse proxy (which may be one and the same with the load balancer) could be interfering with data transfers.
• A third party software application delivery appliance could be interfering.
In all cases it is recommended that you verify your configurations and settings to ensure that they are not inadvertently interfering with Servigistics InService performance.
