Upgrade Considerations

|---|---|
|
30.0
|
After upgrading to version 30.0, a new flow, Evaluate Consumed Quantity on Work Order Completion (Flow029), is available and is disabled by default. The existing Evaluate Consumed Quantity on Service Product flow (Flow028) continues to calculate the consumed quantity when the service product is marked as complete.
To calculate consumed quantity at Work Order completion instead, enable Flow029 and disable Flow028. Do not keep both flows active simultaneously to avoid incorrect calculations.
For more information, see Updating Quantities for Covered Work Plans using Service Contract Coverage.

25.2
|
For the 25.2 version, the Select Date Field to Check Coverage field in the seeded entitlement rule is updated to Created Date instead of Scheduled Date. During an upgrade to version 25.2, this update is not applied to existing seeded rule. If the seeded rule was previously deleted, it is reinserted during the upgrade, and the updated field value is applied.

25.2
|
After upgrading to version 25.2, the Coverages and Edit Service Pricebook SFMs include new fields that support Work Plan coverage and pricing. To display these fields in the page layout, users must clear the ServiceMax cache.
Administrators can perform either of the following actions:
• Manually clear ServiceMax Cache when launching the SFM from SFM Delivery for the first time.
• Enable the Global setting SET006 (Module: SFM Transaction Manager, Submodule: SFM Transaction Delivery Engine) to automatically clear the cache on SFM loads.
