Direct Migration
This is a type of migration where you can migrate the configuration items from a source org to a target org directly. To do this, perform the following steps:
1. Open ServiceMax Migration Tool in a web browser.
2. Click Select Configuration Source.
3. From the Source Authorization pop-up window, select Source org.
4. Select the appropriate environment from the Environment drop-down, and then click Next: Salesforce Sign In.
5. Log into your Salesforce account with your valid credentials.
6. After a successful login, the supported configuration items are displayed in the tree view.
7. Click Select Configuration Target.
8. From the Target Authorization pop-up window, select Migrate to another org.
9. Select the appropriate environment from the Environment drop-down, and then click Next: Salesforce Sign In.
10. Log into your target Salesforce account with your valid credentials.
11. Select the required configuration items from the source org tree structure that you want to migrate. The selected items are displayed in the target org box on the right-hand side.
12. Click Validate to confirm the migration. The Validation Result screen is displayed.
