Checklist
The following recommendations provide optimal results for checklist records during data sync:
• The recommended upper limit for the number of questions per checklist is 100. These 100 questions can be divided over a maximum of 20 sections and 20 entry/exit criteria.
• If you have a maximum of 20 checklist sections, the maximum recommended question per checklist is 100, with 20 entry and exit criteria.
• In checklist output documents, set the value of Exclude unanswered Questions to True and Include Skipped Section to False.
The following recommendations provide optimal results for checklist records during config sync:
• Limit the long text answers to 255 characters.
• Always limit the size of attachments and the number of attachments per checklist as sync time increases when there are attachments/files in the checklist answers.
• FSA has benchmarked a maximum of 70 checklists containing up to 100 questions per checklist that can be submitted offline and synced to the server. This number depends on the technician profile’s SET011 (Module: ServiceMax iPad Client, Sub Module: Synchronization) value and the amount of data synced to the server.
