Known Issues / Limitations: Checklist
• The Checklist Question Library page does not open in IE11 browser.
• When a Checklist has multiple sections, then the Next button on the Checklist Delivery screen does not work as expected on IE11 browser for Windows.
• When a Checklist Wizard is launched with more than 140 checklist processes on the Checklist Delivery screen, then the loading spinner keeps spinning and there is no response from the browser.
• Date field values displayed in Smart Docs for checklist responses are one day less than the actual value entered by the user in Checklist Delivery screen. This happens when the user’s local system time zone has a negative offset from GMT, such as Pacific Time Zone, Eastern Time Zone, and so on.
• Datetime field values displayed in Smart Docs for checklist responses are based on the user’s local system time zone, instead of the user’s time zone in Salesforce.
• When Entry Criteria defined on a checklist section with Field = multi-select picklist field and Operator =Include/Exclude and Values = value1; value2 (multiple values) is set in the Form Designer, then the Entry criteria does not work as expected.
• For an Attachment question type, there are chances that the images which are attached may disappear after saving the checklist process. Therefore it is mandatory to provide READ permission on the Question Banks object.
• The preview of the file will not be shown to the technician immediately after attaching. When a file is attached to a checklist and the technician wants to preview the file, it must be first synced to the server. You can perform either Quick Save or click the Next/Previous buttons to sync the record to the server. Only then, the preview of the attached file is available.
• On attaching a file, the Attach link changes to Attach New. When the checklist process is saved, and later when the In-Progress checklist is viewed, the label changes back to Attach and does not remain as Attach New. This is a technical limitation.
• On attaching a file to the checklist, and hovering over the file, a message is displayed to the user No file chosen even when the file is already attached.
• When you attach a file that contains <, >, or & characters in their file name, then these characters are replaced with an underscore and then attached to the Attachment Answer Type.
• When images are attached to the Checklist and the same is included in Output Documents, the attached image might look distorted or displayed as multiple pages on the Output Documents, based on the size of the image.
• When you include multiple Checklist Attachment Answers in the Output Document or in any scenario where a large number of checklist results are generated, Output Document generation might fail because of exceeding Salesforce limits. For information about Salesforce report limits, see

Checklist Attachments Appear Distorted on Output Document
Images added as attachments might appear distorted or displayed as multiple pages on the Output Documents, based on the image added.
Output Document Generation Failure
When you include multiple Checklist Attachment Answers in the Output Document, there may be a case where Output Document Generation might fail due to exceeding Salesforce limits.
The PDF generation file size limit is 30 MB. When you include multiple checklist attachments to the Output Document, there are chances that you may exceed the Salesforce limit.
It is therefore recommended to use the Take Photo option as compared to the Choose from Library option. Using the Take Photo option, the image file size is compressed and then attached to the checklist, whereas when using the Choosing from Library option, the image file size is not compressed, and this might lead to PDF generation failure.
Checklist Translation
When questions are updated from Question Bank Manager and their translations are updated using ServiceMax Translation Workbench, the updated translations do not show on the Web/Mobile delivery.
Workaround: Identify all the checklist processes that use the questions and re-save the process from the Checklist Designer. Then update the translations of these questions from the ServiceMax Translation Workbench.
