Maintenance Plan-Related Known Issues and Limitations
The following are the current known issues and limitations.
Platform Maintenance Plans
• Manage Maintenance Asset Known Issue: When you click any asset field link in the record preview, the respective record is displayed on the same browser tab and not on a new tab.
• Maintenance Assets Addition Limitation: You can add up to 10,000 maintenance assets to a maintenance plan. An error is displayed when you try to add more than 10,000 maintenance assets.
• Maintenance Plan Creation Limitation from Service Contract Plan: At the Service Contract Plan level, a maximum of 140 Maintenance Plan Templates are supported to generate Maintenance Plans during the Service Contract Authoring process.
• Maintenance Plan Authoring Known Issue: An error is displayed in some orgs during the Maintenance Plan Authoring process.
Condition-based Asset 360 Maintenance Plans
• Maintenance Plan Scheduler Creation Issue: The maintenance plan scheduler is not created in the org if you do not run Asset 360 Configurator after installing or upgrading the Asset 360 package. Ensure that you
run the Asset 360 Configurator so that the maintenance plan scheduler is created and maintenance plan processes are not run at scheduled times.
• LWC Layout Issue in Maintenance Plan Templates Page: An empty Template header is displayed in the Work Rules Templates tab of the Maintenance Plan Templates page. This is a sporadic issue. The empty header no longer appears when you refresh the screen.
