ViewSet Types and Locations
To administer ViewSets, it is important to understand the types of ViewSets and where they are located.
There are three types of ViewSet: personal, unpublished, and published. A ViewSet changes type based on the operation performed in the ViewSets view. The following table describes each type of ViewSet:

PTC RV&S client
ViewSets stored on (and available to) the PTC RV&S Client installed on the same machine a PTC RV&S 관리 클라이언트 you are viewing the ViewSets view from.
Personal ViewSets are only displayed in the ViewSets view for the purpose of converting to unpublished ViewSets.
Unpublished
PTC RV&S 관리 클라이언트
ViewSets modified through the PTC RV&S Client for the purpose of publishing to the PTC RV&S server. These ViewSets have not yet been published (or have not been published since they were last fetched or edited).
Created when a personal ViewSet is edited or copied from the ViewSets view. Also created when a published ViewSet is edited, copied, or fetched.

Unpublished ViewSets are stored locally on your PTC RV&S 관리 클라이언트 machine. Until the ViewSets are published to the PTC RV&S server, like any other locally stored data they are subject to local system failure.
Published
PTC RV&S server
ViewSets that have already been published to the PTC RV&S server, and are available to specified users.
