Configuring Single Sign-On (SSO)
You can configure your product to use SSO authentication using SAML 2.0.

You will need to work with your IT department to gather the appropriate information needed to configure SSO before opening your case with PTC Technical Support.
1. Open a case with PTC Technical Support to request SSO containing the following information: the domain or domains that you want to configure for SSO.
2. PTC Technical Support will provide you with the Assertion Consumer Service (ACS) URL and an Entity ID.
3. Work with your IT department to use the ACS URL and Entity ID to set up the SSO application in your company’s identity provider.
Save the metadata URL for this application to provide to PTC Technical Support.
4. Send the following information to PTC Technical Support:
Confirm the domain or domains that you want to configure for SSO.
Any one of the following:
Identity Provider metadata.xml URL (preferred, if the file is publicly hosted).
Identity Provider metadata.xml file.
The SAML token claims that your Identity Provider uses for a user’s first-name, last-name, and display-name attributes.
A timeframe or date by which you would like SSO to be enabled.
5. PTC Technical Support will contact you to test and confirm that SSO is working properly.
