To Create an Article Reference
Use one of the following options to create article references:

By Family Table to create an article reference using a new family table instance.Although there are three ways to create article references, best practice is to create a reference article using the inheritance feature. This is due to the following requirements:
• Article references that were created using a merge operation must be converted for use in Creo Parametric Sheetmetal mode by clicking > > .
• Article references created by a family table instance create nested family tables.
 | For article references created by merge or by reference, the part level parameters of the article will automatically be copied to the article reference. |
