To Assign Material Properties

1. Click PDX Article > Article >

Assign Material Properties. The Material Properties dialog box opens.

2. Select a type of material from the list:

◦ Material—assigns a material

◦ Bend table—assigns a bend table

3. Enter a value:

◦ Y Factor—sets the Y bend factor

◦ K Factor—sets the K bend factor

4. Click Apply to regenerate the model and apply the changes you have made or click OK to accept the changes and close the dialog box.

To change the Y or K bend factor in the article reference by inheritance, the sheetmetal parameters SMT_PART_BEND_TABLE and SMT_PART_BEND_ALLOWANCE_FACTOR are inserted as varied items.
