Installing the Windchill RV&S OSLC Server
The Windchill RV&S Component Installer is required for installing the Windchill RV&S OSLC Server.

To install Windchill RV&S OSLC Server
1. On Windows, double-click the rvscomponentinstaller.exe file.
On Linux, in a command window, type ./rvscomponentinstaller.bin.
2. On the Accept License Agreement panel, select the checkbox to accept the license agreement and click Next.
3. On the Select Installation Options panel, select the OSLC Server checkbox and click Next.
4. On the OSLC Server Installation – REST Server Details panel, specify the host name and port number of the Windchill RV&S server and click Next.
5. On the OSLC Server Installation – Specify OSLC Server Installation directory panel, specify the path of the Windchill RV&S OSLC Server installation directory.
Alternatively, browse to the installation directory of the Windchill RV&S OSLC Server.
The user home directory is the default installation directory of the Windchill RV&S OSLC Server.
6. Click Next.
7. On the OSLC Server Installation – Specify OSLC Server TAR File panel, specify the path of the OSLC Server TAR file.
Alternatively, browse to the TAR file for the Windchill RV&S OSLC Server.
8. Click Install.
After installing the Windchill RV&S OSLC server, the following subdirectories are available in the installation directory (for example, <installdir>):
• config
• core-ldp-service
• core-oslc-server
• ilm-oslc-adapter
• logs
• mappings
• node_modules
• winston
The <installdir> also contains the package.json file.

You can verify the version of the installed Windchill RV&S OSLC Server in the package.json file.
