Viewing External OSLC Links Associated with Windchill RV&S Resources
The Windchill RV&S OSLC Client can request for information about the external OSLC links (reverse lookup) associated with the Windchill RV&S OSLC resources (requirements and requirement documents).
The client can request Windchill Modeler for models or requirements, and Windchill for parts, that are associated with the Windchill RV&S OSLC resources. You can view details of such external OSLC links in DocStudio or the Refreshed Item View.
The Windchill RV&S OSLC Client displays the following reverse lookup information in the external OSLC links for the Windchill Modeler model or requirement associated with the Windchill RV&S resources:
• Title
• A link to open the model or requirement in Windchill Modeler
• Preview of the OSLC link
The Windchill RV&S OSLC Client displays the following reverse lookup information in the external OSLC links for the Windchill parts associated with the Windchill RV&S resources:
• Number
• Title
• State
• Context
• Created Date
• Modified Date
• A link to open the Windchill item
• Preview of the OSLC link
To view the external OSLC links in DocStudio:
1. Open the document in DocStudio.
2. Select the required item in the document.
3. Under the EXTERNAL OSLC LINK column, click

 | • The EXTERNAL OSLC LINK column is visible only for the requirement type that is mapped in the requirements-domain-mapping.json OSLC mapping file. For more information on the requirements-domain-mapping.json file, see the Windchill RV&S OSLC Server guide. Also, correct values of the mksis.wrvsOslcServerList and mksis.oslc.server.<serverAlias>.baseUrl properties in the is.properties file are required. • The Windchill RV&S OSLC Server must be up and running to view the external OSLC links. |
4. Select the required Windchill Modeler OSLC Server or Windchill OSLC Server and provide the authentication details.
After authentication, based on your selection, a window appears that displays the models and requirements of Windchill Modeler (or Windchill items) associated with the Windchill RV&S item.
5. For columns that can be filtered, such as TITLE, apply a filter to locate the model or requirement (or Windchill item).
6. Based on your selection, in the OPEN IN WINDCHILL MODELER or OPEN IN WINDCHILL column, click

1. Open the item for which you want to view the external OSLC links in the Refreshed Item View.
