Accessing Remote Data Using OSLC Links
You can view the OSLC links between the Windchill RV&S Document Model items and OSLC resources exposed by the supported OSLC servers in the Windchill RV&S Web UI, client GUI, DocStudio, and the Refreshed Item View.
You can then use these links to view the preview of the OSLC data exposed by the Windchill Modeler OSLC Server and the Windchill OSLC Server in DocStudio and Refreshed Item View.
To view the preview from an OSLC link:
1. Open the document in DocStudio and scroll to the item for which the OSLC link is created.
Alternatively, open the required item for which the OSLC link is created in the Refreshed Item View.
2. To view the preview of the OSLC resources exposed by the OSLC servers:
◦ In the DocStudio view, click the OSLC link under TITLE in the OUTGOING OSLC LINKS column of the item.

The OUTGOING OSLC LINKS column is visible in DocStudio only if the Outgoing OSLC Links field is added on the Document and Node types. This field should also be a part of default columns in DocStudio. For more information on adding the Outgoing OSLC Links field to types, see

◦ In the Refreshed Item View, click the OSLC link under TITLE in the Outgoing OSLC Links section of the item.

If the previews of the Windchill OSLC links are not visible, ensure that the Windchill RV&S server is added to the Allowed List by the Windchill server.
