Upgrading Windchill Digital Product Traceability Extension

To avoid compatibility issues, PTC strongly recommends that you check the Windchill PDMLink Software Matrices before upgrading the Windchill PDMLink Digital Product Traceability extension.
Use the following instructions to upgrade and use Windchill PDMLink Digital Product Traceability extension 12.0.0.0:
1. Upgrade your installed version of ThingWorx Platform and ThingWorx Flow to version 9.0. For instruction on performing the upgrade, see the guide Upgrading to ThingWorx on Reference Documents.
2. Download the Windchill_Digital_Product_Traceability_Bundle zip file (12.0.0.0) from the PTC Software Download page on PTC.com, and extract the contents of the zip to a local drive.
3. Import the Windchill_Digital_Product_Traceability-extension to ThingWorx Platform 9.0. For information on importing extensions in ThingWorx Platform, see the topic Configuring the Windchill Digital Product Traceability (DPT) Extension in ThingWorx in the Windchill PDMLink Help Center.
4. Restart ThingWorx Platform. The Windchill_Digital_Product_Traceability-extension (12.0.0.0) overwrites any previous or older version after this step is performed.
5. Verify that the appropriate ThingWorx entities are available in ThingWorx Composer after the Windchill_Digital_Product_Traceability-extension is imported.
