OSLC Integration with Polarion
Windchill Modeler 9.5 includes an OSLC-based integration to Siemens Polarion for traceability from system designs to requirements.
You can refer to the Windchill Modeler Release Notes for information on the supported version of Siemens Polarion.
• To connect to a Polarion server, access the OSLC browser and use the Add OSLC Server function and select Polarion. An example of the Polarion server URL is: http://<servername>.com/polarion/oslc/rootservices.
• Expand the server node to view Poliarion projects in Polarion.
• To locate Polarion requirements, you can execute a text search. There may be limitations on the query service for partial matches or wildcards.
• You can use the normal drag-and-drop features to create OSLC links and Surrogates from model items and diagrams to Polarion requirements.
• You can navigate from Modeler to the requirements in Polarion using the View in Native System function.
• Suspecting of OSLC links is supported, both manual and automatic.
