Prerequisites
This section lists basic requirements that must be met before installing ThingWorx Navigate 1.6.
Software versions
Each ThingWorx Navigate release supports specific versions of ThingWorx, Windchill, and other products. For the latest support information, make sure to check the Platform Support Matrix for ThingWorx Navigate.
Remember to also check the prerequisites for ThingWorx: ThingWorx Core 8.1 System Requirements

Due to possible security vulnerabilities, a minimum version of 8.0.44 Apache Tomcat is required.
Windchill Requirements
• Windchill at one of the following release levels:
◦ 11.1 F000 or later
◦ 11.0 M030 or later
◦ 11.0 M020 CPS 2 or later
◦ 10.2 M032 CPS 24 or later
◦ 10.2 M030 CPS 11 or later

Windchill 11.0 F000 and 11.0 M010 are not supported.
• The PTC Windchill Extension, including a patch that corresponds with the Windchill release you have installed—For the correct version, check the Platform Support Matrix for ThingWorx Navigate.

The following diagram depicts a ThingWorx deployment with Windchill.
License
ThingWorx Navigate licenses are included in your license for ThingWorx. If you already have ThingWorx installed and have never installed ThingWorx Navigate, you may need new licenses for ThingWorx that include ThingWorx Navigate license.

Browser requirements
ThingWorx Navigate does not support Internet Explorer’s Compatibility View. If your organization uses Internet Explorer, we recommend you roll out the following settings to your users in Internet Explorer’s Compatibility Settings dialog box:
• Display intranet sites in Compatibility View—Make sure this box is cleared.
• Websites you’ve added to Compatibility View—Remove the URL and hostname for the Windchill server and the ThingWorx Navigate server from the list.
