3. Import ThingWorx Navigate Framework Extension Files

Getting Started with ThingWorx Navigate > Installing ThingWorx Navigate > Import ThingWorx Navigate related extensions > 3. Import ThingWorx Navigate Framework Extension Files

By this point, your system is ready to start installing the components of ThingWorx Navigate. First up: the ThingWorx Navigate Framework Extension.

1. Unzip the contents of the following file: ThingWorx-Navigate-Framework-{version}.zip. Choose the latest version available.

2. From ThingWorx Composer, select Import/Export > Import.

3. In the Import Extensions window, find ptc-navigate-framework-extension-{version}.zip.

4. Click Import and refresh the window if prompted.

5. To view the extensions after the import is complete, select Import/Export > Manage.

Now that the framework extension is in place, you can install the task extensions that your users will need. Complete the steps in 4. Importing ThingWorx Navigate View PLM App Extension.
