Windchill Exporter - Configurations page (Integration for PTC Windchill)
The Configurations page allows you to specify the target folder for the export, select the Parameter Configuration file to use, and change default parameter values.
To select the target Export Folder: click the Export Folder button, and select the folder in which you want to create the generated Windchill import files (JAR files).
To select a Parameter Configuration file to use to set up the default values of the Windchill parameters and click the Custom Configuration File value box, click the button that appears in the value box, and select the Parameter Configuration file you want to use.
To change the value of a parameter and expand the required configuration and set the value as required. Alternatively, when the items are created in Windchill, you can use Windchill to change the parameter values that have been set.
*
Ensure that you set the value of each parameter correctly for the target Product or Library in Windchill. If a parameter is incorrectly set, then that parameter value will have to be corrected in Windchill for each item that is imported with the wrong value.
For more information about Parameter Configuration Files, see Parameter configuration files (Integration for PTC Windchill).
After you have set the options as required, click Export to start the export.
