Concurrent state (operational) (UPDM - DoDAF aliases)
A Concurrent State (Operational) is a proprietary element that is required to model UPDM in Modeler.
Creation
To create a Concurrent State (Operational):
From a State Description (Operational): right-click the State Description (Operational), point to New, point to DoDAF, and then click Concurrent State (Operational).
From an OV-6b Operational State Transition Description: click the Concurrent State (Operational) button, and then click in free space on the diagram.
To create a new compartment on a Concurrent State (Operational):
From a Concurrent State (Operational): right-click the Concurrent State (Operational), point to New, point to DoDAF, and then click Sequential State (Operational).
From an OV-6b Operational State Transition Description: click the Operational Concurrent Compartment button, and then click the Concurrent State (Operational).

UML Transitions link a Concurrent State (Operational) to other State Diagram elements (OV-6b Operational State Transition Description).
Operation (Operational) elements can be invoked by a Concurrent State (Operational): right-click the Concurrent State (Operational), point to Links, and then click Do Node Operation.
Activity (Operational) elements can be invoked by a Concurrent State (Operational): right-click the Concurrent State (Operational), point to Links, and then click Do Operational Activity.
