Concept role (UPDM - DoDAF aliases)
Creation
To create a Concept Role:
On the Select Type dialog, create or select the element that is the type of the Concept Role, or create an untyped Concept Role.
▪ Click the
Concept Role button, and then click in free space on the diagram (or the High Level Operational Concept if shown). On the Select Type dialog, create or select the element that is the type of the Concept Role, or create an untyped Concept Role.
▪ From an appropriate Modeler pane, locate the element that you want to use as the type of the Concept Role, and then drag that element to free space on the diagram (or to the High Level Operational Concept if shown).
The type of a Concept Role can be a
Performer (System),
Location Type,
Operational Context,
Performer (Operational),
Organization Type,
System Context,
Physical Location,
Person Role Type,
System,
Responsibility,
Security Domain,
Service Access, or
Software element.
