New model dialog and add profile dialog
This dialog allows you to select profiles to add to the model. Select the check boxes associated with the profiles you want to add to the model. If a profile you select is dependent on other profiles, those profiles are automatically included and dimmed in the list.
There are two variants of this dialog: the New Model dialog that is opened when you create a new model, and the Add Profile dialog that is opened when you add a profile to a model.
New Model dialog
This dialog has the following controls:
• Database —lists the Databases that are bookmarked in your Model Explorer and allows you to select a Database in which to create the new model.
• Model Name —allows you to name the model that is going to be created.
• Enable Change Tracking —specifies that change tracking is enabled in the new model. This check box is available only if you have a Change Tracking license.
• Profiles —lists the provided profiles that you can add to the model. Select the check boxes associated with the profiles you want to add to the model.
• OK —creates the new model with the selected profiles added.
• Cancel —closes the dialog without creating a new model.
• Help —opens this topic.
Add Profile dialog
This dialog has the following controls:
• Databases —lists the Databases that are bookmarked in your Model Explorer and shows the name of the Database in which to model resides.
• Model Name —shows the name of the Model to which the profiles will be added.
• Enable Change Tracking - shows whether change tracking is enabled in the model. This check box is available only if you have a Change Tracking license.
• Profiles —lists the provided profiles that you can add to the model. Select the check boxes associated with the profiles you want to add to the model.
• OK —adds the selected profiles to the model.
• Cancel —closes the dialog without adding profiles to the model.
