Linking a note to a diagram symbol

Working With Model Items and Diagrams > Working with diagrams > Working with notes and frame boxes > Linking a note to a diagram symbol

1. On the diagram tab, click the

Note Link button.

2. Click the Note that you want to link, and then click the symbol to which you want to link the Note.

Alternatively:

1. Right click the Note, select Add > Note Link.

2. Click the symbol to which you want to link the Note.

To set the appearance of a Note Link:

1. Right click the Note Link, and then click View Options.

2. Click the Note Link entry.

3. Select the required start and end shapes from the Start and End drop-down list boxes.

4. Set the line Style to Solid or Dashed

To detach a note from a diagram item:

• Select the Note Link, and then press the Delete key.
