Creating a Requirement Nesting Link on a Requirement diagram (SysML)
A Requirement Nesting Link indicates ownership, scoping the nested item to the nesting item. You can create a nesting link between:
Requirements (Extended, Functional, Interface, Performance, Physical)
Requirements and Design constraints
To create a Requirement Nesting Link on a Requirement diagram
1. Add the requirements or design constraints that you require on the Requirement diagram.
2. On the diagrams tab, click the Requirement Nesting Link button.
3. On the diagram, click the item that is to nest, and then the item that is to be nested.
The item that is to nest now owns the nested item.
