What was new in Web Interface 8.4
The Web Interface provided with Modeler 8.4 included the following enhancements:
• The new Modeler 8.4 item types, OSLC Links, OSLC Surrogates, HTML Links and HTML Surrogates, are accessible via the Web Interface.
• OSLC Links, OSLC Surrogates, HTML Links and HTML Surrogates are displayed in Web Interface Navigation pane, under their owning model item. All of these item types can be selected in the Navigation pane to view the properties.
• The URL property is displayed for OSLC Links, OSLC Surrogates, HTML Links and HTML Surrogates. The URL property can be selected to open the link target in a new web browser tab. The link target may be a web page or resource, or a remote item stored in a web based system such as Windchill or an OSLC-compliant system such as DOORS Next Generation. For the link to open correctly, the link target must be a valid URL beginning with http, https or file.
• The OSLC Resource Link property displays the OSLC-compliant URI for that model item. When clicked, this returns a RDF/XML document for that OSLC resource which can be viewed in an XML editor.

You can select and copy the navigation link, and then send that link to other users. When they click the link, it opens the Web Interface website and selects the Database, Model, Model Version, item or diagram in the Navigation pane.
• When an RTF property includes a Model Object Reference to an item, you can now click that link to select the referenced item in the Navigation pane.
• The Web Interface REST service can now return the properties of a Model.
