Speed (property of multidrop bus type and point to point connection type)

This property specifies the frequency of message transfer for a Multidrop Bus Type or Point to Point Connection Type, including the units used.

• When a Multidrop Bus is linked to the Multidrop Bus Type, the Speed applies to the linked Multidrop Bus.
• When a Point to Point Connection is linked to the Point to Point Connection Type, the Speed applies to the linked Point to Point Connection.

By default, the Speed box is blank.
This property is set on the Options tab of a Multidrop Bus Type's and Point to Point Connection Type's Property Pages.
