This property specifies the Memory Type is Persistent, that is, the Memory is to be used for data storage. When a Memory is linked to the Memory Type, the Persistent property applies to the linked Memory.

By default, the Persistent check box is cleared.

This property is set on the Options tab of a Memory type's Property Pages.
