Aligning items on a diagram
1. Select the items that you want to align.
When you have two or more items selected, the items align with the 'reference selection', that is the item that has red handles. If you click a selected item, that item becomes the reference selection.
2. Ensure that the item you want to align with is the 'reference selection', that is, the item has red handles.
3. On the Layout tab, click the appropriate alignment command.
◦ Align Left
◦ Align Right
◦ Align Top
◦ Align Bottom
◦ Align Center Horizontal
◦ Align Center Vertical
Alternatively, right-click the reference selection item, and click Align Symbols, and then click the appropriate alignment command.
If the results are not as you want, on the
Home tab, click
Undo.
Modeler will attempt to align the selected items to the reference selection.
